I think we have all lost a pet at sometime in our lives. But, I just have to mention that recently we have lost quite a few here or it sure seems that way.
I camp at a seasonal campground with some family members and some close friends. We all “had” pets. This Fall we lost some very close family members, dogs, that we get as close to as any family member (and some closer than family).
I just thought I needed to mention and honor these that we have lost recently. I am adding some picture but they are pictures of the breed not of the actual pet lost.
For one some were sick and we don’t want to remember them that way. We want to remember them as the young playful, dedicated pet we remember. Two, some I don’t have a good picture of and the picture of the breed does look a lot like them.

Tibetan Spaniel, In memery of Bandit

Siberian Husky. In memory of Nikita

Siberian Husky. In memory of Nemo

Saint Bernard. In memory of Bryce
Bandit had suffered some illnesses in her life but she did recover well and had a good life. Of their two small dogs Bandit was the one to bark to ward off any she thought was an intruder.
Nikita always displayed elegance. You would think she was royalty. If she had lived as a sled dog she would defiantly been the leader of the pack. Always the hunter. She developed a sudden heart condition.
Nemo was the strong male. He would follow Nikita anywhere and did. Always friendly and loyal.
Bryce was a “big guy”. Even though he was a big dog he walked with elegance too. Always friendly and loving.
They all will be missed but they will be well remembered too. Do you have a pet loss that you would like mentioned or remembered? Why not share it here. Leave a comment and share it with us.
